Hello:
I am an attorney and business manager experienced in providing leadership and legal counsel across the business enterprise. I work with both for-profit and nonprofits.
I currently operate Business Launch and Legal Services, LLC and Nonprofit Launch and Legal Services, LLC.
Business Launch, LLC assists clients in starting their own businesses, by providing advice and development services for organizational development, risk reduction, business strategy, and legal matters pertinent to developing a new business. As a law firm, Business Launch offers legal services that include business entity creation, organizational document drafting, business agreements, and on-going legal and business advice.
Business Launch offers a menu of services. However, its premier product is robust business planning. As a subset, less robust plans or categorized sections of plans are available according to the needs and wants of the client.
As a former journalist and entrepreneur, I place a special priority on meeting client deadlines, expediting work as necessary, and working with clients to meet their unique needs; both large and small.
I am extremely involved in my neighborhood and with the legal community. I have both a social conscience and a head for business. I enjoy providing legal and regulatory guidance to get deals done and bring products and services to market.
I obtained my Master of Business Administration degree from Hamline University in St. Paul and my Juris Doctor cum laude degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
In addition, I am President of the Union Park District Council in St. Paul, Minnesota.
I work with cross-functional business teams to obtain business requirements, price and cost issues and other business metrics. Strong client service orientation. Flexible and adaptable with exceptional communications skills and committed to continual process improvement.
